Tomato prices soar in Chennai; now being sold at Rs 100 per kg

The price of tomatoes has soared in Chennai and it is now being sold at Rs 100 per kilogram in the Koyambedu wholesale vegetable market. The price, which was Rs 90 per kilogram on Saturday, reached Rs 100 on Sunday.
